Sigils

Sigils are powerful symbols that can help you intensify your craft, spell castings, and intentions. In today’s day and age, with so much misinformation in the world, creating your own sigils is the best route to take so that you can be sure the intention is clear and true.

Creating sigils is fun and easy!

To begin, choose your phrase. You’re going to want to break your intention down into a short, simple phrase, or even one word if possible.

Once you’re choosen your word or phrase, remove all of the vowels and repeating letters. Then find the corresponding number to each letter.

When you have your letter list, start in the center and drawn lines (straight or curved) to each number, creating a shape as you go.

If you’re not satisfied with your results, you can always try rearraging the numbers in the circle!

I like to use different circles for different intentions, but you can change them up whenever you need to in order to create a sigil you’re happy with.

Another way to create sigils is to use the consonants from your letter list and put them together in fun ways, like in the expample below.

When you have your sigil, its time to activate it!

There’s a couple different ways you can do this, such as follows:

Bless your sigils with your own spell

Burn your sigils (create a copy for this process)

Expose them to sunlight

You can also recharge your sigils using sunlight and incense, corresponding to the best herb for your intention.

Once your sigil is created and activated, you can out them to work!

Now, if you have burned your sigils, you’ve done enough. Trust that it has been imprinted in the universe and it is steadily working toward your intentions.

However, if you’d like to do more with your sigil you can recreate it and place it anywhere.

You can draw sigils on mirrors with dry erase markers.

You can draw sigils on cars with window paint markers.

You can place sigils in your shoes, for instance, if you wanted to keep yourself on the “right” path, or take the high road.

You can place sigils in your pockets, lockets, or other articles of clothing.

You can place sigils under your pillows on fix them above your bed.

You can use sigils in rituals to protect you, to summon spirits, or to bring extra power.

You can draw your sigils on yourself or have them tattooed on you.

You can also gift them to others for protection, good luck, abundance, and so on.

There are many different ways and reasons to use sigils so if you don’t see it here that doesn’t mean it’s not possible.

As always, listen to and trust your intuition. Your soul will always know the best path for you.

Happy crafting!
