Shadow Discussion Prompts

You can either speak these aloud while practicing with a black mirror, or you can use these as journal prompts to help you open yourself up to your shadow and figure out what you’ve got going on down within your depths.

What am I ignoring?

What am I hiding from?

What am I running from?

When was the last time I experienced jealousy or envy?

Why?

What last threatened me?

Why?

What makes me angry?

What is my most prominent insecurity?

What am I most afraid of?

How can I accept these parts of myself?

How can I release these parts of myself?

Am I honoring my sexualnature or repressing it?

What basic needs of mine need more attention?

How do I make myself feel safe?

How can I better cope with dark thoughts?

What are my strengths?

What should I focus on healing?
