Upright Interpretation: 

The Queen of Swords uses her sharp blade to cut through the haze of any situation in order to quickly get down to the bottom of things. This card signifies direct energy, clarity, and insight. This queen represents the creative side of the mental process and is well-versed in both the mental and spiritual realms. She brings balance to the left-brain with her independent femininity. She is composed, analytical, and measured. This card could also be an indication of difficult times, but these experiences will open up new channels in your universe.

The Queen of Swords in reverse is generally an indication that one’s judgment is off. You or another person may be using your intellect as a weapon by way of a sharp tongue. Your judgment may be one-sided and flawed. Now is the time to lay down your sword and reevaluate.
