This is the chakra of love, passion, joy, acceptance, inner peace, relationships, connection, and care. It is through this chakra that we are able to experience the emotion-charged life around us and serve our gratitude for it.
Signs of a Balanced Heart Chakra:
Deeply in love, connection to others/everyone, open to love and accepting of life, house of joy, peace, and happiness
Signs of an Imbalanced Heart Chakra:
Isolation, selfishness, dismissive of love, sadness, hate, rejection, envy, jealousy
Signs of an Overactive Heart Chakra:
If the heart chakra is overactive it’s generating too much energy with little direction. Symptoms of this would be people pleasing; putting others before the Self and ignoring one’s own needs. In order for energy to flow through us unrestricted we need balance in all energetic centers.

Strong, emotionally charged experiences can disrupt the flow of energy to the heart, causing the energy pathways to get bogged down with negative, reactive emotions.
